Dear Abraham Lincoln,
It is January 29, 2009 and slavery is gone due to your persistent efforts to try and make America better. I am now able to go to school with kids of all colors and ethnicity's. I appreciate the time you put into this nation to eventually ensure my rights as an African American women and American citizen. Without you this new great nation probably wouldn't be where we are right now. Im proud to know that there was a great man like you in the history of my march to freedom.

Darwinism?
Darwinism is the following in the ideas of Charles Darwin and the worshipping of his evaluational idea of natural selection. His ideas were greatly influenced by James Hutton, Alfred Wallace, Jean Baptiste Lamarck, Charles Lyell, Thomas Malthus. They all told him the effects of how geological changes and how the world was more than millions of years old and helped him appreciate geological phenomenon.

GRADE REFLECTION

Today we did a grade reflection and my grade has improved so much; my advice to you to help your grade is to just work hard and do the best you can. If you don't put effort into your work you will not be successful in everything you do or in anything you do. BE SMART, WORK HARD, and COMPLETE WHAT U CAN. So try your hardest to be number one in your eyes and not everyone else's.

What grade do you thing you deserve?
I think I deserve a 100 because I finished all my blogs yesterday except this one. I might have answered questions with short answers but my descriptions on certain topics are impeccably powerful.

HOW is the H-R Diagram used?

1.) The main sequence of the H-R Diagram represents most of the stars in the diagram.
2.) 90% of the stars in the H-R Diagram are main sequence stars.
3.) The Sun is a main sequence star.
4.) The Sun will next become a red giant.
2.) 90% of the stars in the H-R Diagram are main sequence stars.
3.) The Sun is a main sequence star.
4.) The Sun will next become a red giant.
5.) The H-R diagram is used by the cold stars being on the right, the bright stars on the top, the dim stars on the bottom, and the hot stars on the left.

Which Astronomy topic do you like?

Black holes, Pluto, Andromeda Galaxy, Constellations, and Sagittarius B, and Apollo missions.
Black holes form when a star at least three times bigger than the sun is destroyed and the suction power just pulls you in being called a black hole from which their is no return. They are objects so dense that sense nothing is faster than light, nothing can escape a black hole. They would say that anything with the same mass and same distance away would still get sucked inside the black hole. The mass of a super massive black hole can be measured using radio astronomy.
Pluto is a dwarf planet that is now no longer considered one of our planets. In Greek it means Hades which is the god of the underworld. It was given this name because of its distance from the Sun makes it so dark. Did you know that Pluto was discovered by accident. It is very small and located in the Kuiper Belt. Pluto's radius is unknown and is most likely to be found somewhere in the next five years. Pluto can also reach certain temperatures such as -235 and -210 C.
Andromeda Galaxy has been said that it is possibly brighter than the Milky Way. It is a spiral galaxy and is located northwest of Mu and Beta. The Andromeda Galaxy has a diameter of over 200,000. It also has been suggested that Andromeda holds anywhere from 700 billion to 1.2 trillion Solar-masses. It was found in the 1990s that the Andromeda Galaxy has a nucleus with a double feature
Constellations are groups of stars that form pictures or collections of 88 different star groups. They can even be further divided into eight different families. The Greeks used to assign certain heroes or gods after pictures in the sky. Regions later on around the south pole got their names from the Astronomer Johan Bayer who followed the tradition of names brought from the sea and its creatures.
Apollo Missions contained 17 missions and most of them were somewhat successful. In Apollo mission 1 a fire broke out and killed three U.S. astronauts but in Apollo mission 7 it was the only manned mission launched on a Saturn 1-B rocket from pad 34 at the Kennedy Space Center. In this mission the crew circumnavigated Earth 163 times and spent 10 days and 20 hours. In Apollo mission 10 it was the second one to orbit the moon but the very first one to travel there and receive information about the Moon. Also their was much going on in Apollo mission 11 they returned to earth with the first samples of foreign body masses.

What are the cloud types?

1. Three low clouds are Cumulus, Stratocumulus, and Stratus. Three middle clouds are Altocumulus, Altostratus, and Nimbostratus. Three high clouds are Cirrocumulus, Cirrostratus, and Cirrus.
2. The clouds that look the best to me are the Cirrostratus because they look like a big, thin, white curl of hair up in the sky. Its look just so interesting and pretty.
3. They don't really consist of precipitation but may warn you of upcoming bad weather.

What's the greenhouse effect
The greenhouse effect is just a bunch of gases that allow direct sunlight to reach Earth's surface unimpeded. So the greenhouse is nothing but he "heating" of Earth. The three most common greenhouses gases are nitrogen which is the most aboundant, oxygen which is the second most, and argon which is the third most abundant greenhous gas. Greenhouse gases are produced when we burn forest land and mining or burning coal. The greenhouse effect has an impact on our lives when it is similar to global warming and the negative results to follow. Other negative results are sea levels rising, severe floods and droughts, and Earth's precipitation

What grade do i deserve?
I would think I deserve at least a C because I haven't been keeping up with my blog posts and really didn't care about them. My spelling and grammar are amazingly good when I pay attention and don't let pety stuff get in the way. I can't argue with you for that is not who I am but hopefully you take this little thing into some consideration.

1. Earthquakes hit Japan and Indonesia and the second one was called Hurricane Ike delays Cargo for Space Outpost.
2. The first article was about how Russian and U.S. agencies decided to delay shipment when Hurricane Ike imposed and made them evacuate from a control center in Texas.
3. The second article was about two shore earthquakes hit the shore of northern Japan and Indonesian but not one of them caused severe damage to the place or the people.
4. I think the second article because even though nothing got destroyed it was the more frightening and scary one that I read.
5. Compare- Both dealt with a disaster that caused internal grief.
Contrast- One dealt with a specific hurricane and the other they didn't have one.

1. Most earthquakes tend to happen along the Pacific Ocean.
2. I think that is because if the fracture in the earth is ruptured it will cause a bigger effect on the surrounding area.
3. This area is called “the ring of fire”.
4. The earthquake closest to us happened in southeastern Missouri.
5. An earthquake that happened in the last seven days would be the one that happened in southeastern Missouri on September 3, 2008. It had a magnitude 2.7 and it was in depth 9.4 kilometers (km).

What type of mass movement...?

Have you ever been in the middle of a type of a type a mass movement such as creep, rockfalls, slides, slumps, and flows? I want to discuss with you a real life example such as the one in this picture. This is a picture of a rockfall and how the debris falls down to earth into talus or piles of rock. This is a picture of Glacier point and Washburn Point taken by Gerald Wieczorek. Next time you go somewhere with unpredictable climate make sure you know the weather patterns from future reference.
